WACKEN OPEN AIR (W.O.A.) is considered the biggest Heavy Metal festival of the world. A dream to all fans, musicians and professionals who might deal in the artistic area backed to rock.

It happens every year in the homonyms city in SCHLESWIG – HOLSTEIN, in the North of the country.

The first edition of the festival was in 1990 e it had only German bands but the idea was so good that in 1998 the Wacken´s line up would count on 70 bands coming from all over the world.

Usually the festival lasts 3 days with a minimum of 4 stages where simultaneous concerts happen. On its last edition, in August of 2007, over 72 thousand people were there and to this year´s edition, that will begin on the 31st of July, the tickets were sold out two months ago.

Participating on this festival is no doubt a dream and since a believe in the possibility of getting it, even though not for this year, I found a way to take part in it.
